South Side House |
Southside House, on Wimbledon Common, was rebuilt by Robert Pennington in the William & Mary style, after the Great Plague of London in 1665. |
One of the oldest houses in Greater London, it is still used as a private residence by descendants of the Pennington family, and the house remains largely unchanged. |

Southside Housw is open for guided tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays from Easter Saturday to October 2nd. The guided tours last an hour, and start at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. No booking is necessary. Admission: adults £5.00, children £2.50, family ticket £10.00, concessions £4.00 |
